SGM Mike Young DAI SIFU MIKE D. YOUNG SENIOR GRAND MASTER As an Asian Historian, his journey took a deep look into what martial arts is really all about. Born in 1932 and 75 years old, Dai Sifu Mike Young has over 70 years of Martial Arts experience in White Crane Kung Fu, Hung Gar Kuen, Choy Gar Ma, Choy Li Fut and other Chinese and Asiatic martial arts. He was instrumental in introducing Adriano Emperado to the Chinese Martial Arts community. He is advisor to many martial arts association including Kajukenbo and its extension arts. His history of Kajukenbo and the Five Founders aka "The Big Five" of Kajukenbo as well as martial arts in Hawaii, is enlightening. He is the primary source of historical information for Kajukenbo as he lived and "ran around" with "The Big Five" during their youthful days. As a close advisor to KOA's Council members, he assist in the education of the history of Kajukenbo and the Hawaiian Islands martial arts with the Level one to four Continuous Education Program and seminars that Sifu Al Dela Cruz and Sifu Al Dacascos conducts on the major Islands of Hawaii. Member of Chinese town Merchant Association in 1990's. Graduate of University of Idaho (B.A. in History). An instructor with KMT physical cultural club in the late 50's. Senior Advisor and Board Member with KOA Council of Grand Masters.
